STICKY SNOW

Snow is so wet my shoes felt like I was carrying 20 extra pounds,
good for my hippy hips.........trails are getting really nice and firm,
have pretty new breakup boots coming for when all this lovely
white stuff melts............

Sun peeking out today, had snow flurrys with high temp of 40 above
nice and warm.........

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYRA

Helped Myra celebrate her 49th (cough cough) had a good
ox meatball stew, green salad and delicious rolls made by Mike...
And a good Pinochle game.........

SPRING

You may have flowers where you are and we have snow sliding off everything.Was 35 above today with winds out of thd SE up to 40mph
very windy and snow is going fast...but we could get more at any time ..

SUPER MOON

It was cloudy but we did get to see the moon but not Saturn......

GOING HOME

Ready for trip home, had wonderful time with
all. The weather was marvelous..........Take off time was
9:15 AM and they beat the sun up.......

BEDTIME STORY

Last night in Council, everyone ready for bed.

SNOW CAVE

Paula and the kids shoveled and made a nice little cave.
They went out after dark to spend the night and lasted
an hour. Doug had to check it out when I told him it
was his new DOG house....................

Dominos is lots of fun with the kids and they learn
counting, adding etc......

ARRIVING IN STYLE

Paula and the Grandkids came from Nome for a visit
Friday afternoon been snowshoeing, sliding, having
a good time. The temp has stayed in the high teens-low
20's bright sunshine everyday seems like for the
last month......

Funny how the snow is different shades, depends on how the wind blows it around.

THE SCHOOL

One of the older buildings in Council still standing. The bell tower
may not make it thru the winter. Dougs Sister Bunny went to the 1st grade here a few years back.

NEW 20 METER ANTENNA

Doug put up a new 20 m wire (one in middle) should
take the wind better.......of course it hasn't blown
hard since it took down the R8...been warm in the low
30's with bright sunshine........
