GOOD WINTER COMING

Jimmy West (Alaska Cab Garage ) delivered 1475 Gallons of #1 Heating oil today which should do us for the winter. Had time to play Granddaughter Kiyler for awhile since Mom and Dad were here visiting.

BACK HOME

Went to check mail today its about 27 miles down by river (hour 45 minutes) was a beautiful warm day. Really having some Indian summer weather. Got home and the green house was 95 degrees. Still have a few tomatoe plants growing ,bet they were loving it.

Tug with barge being loaded with crushed granite at Cape Nome. This is the only quarry on the west coast.

Went into Nome again Thursday and had a beautiful drive in. Here are some Swans at Solomon on way in and some Ducks at a near pond at 10:30 P.M. when we went back thru.

RIVER UP







After 2 weeks of rain the Niukluk has risen about 4 foot, nothin but boats crossing now. First sunset in awhile.

Found this pretty patch of ground cover, have no idea what its called. Kind of like little green stars. poking out of the tundra.....

Wood pile coming along, lots of dead trees around if I can get Doug to do his part so I have something to cut up ,split and stack..........can open window and grab a few chunks until my arms get to short........

GREEN HOUSE






Doug is busy working on the new green house before the snow starts falling. Going to be 12x20 and will double as storage for the 4 wheelers, go-cart and several other items.

BJ brought up her Aunt Wanda's girl Stephanie Heisman of New Mexico to show her Council.

READY FOR SNOW


I brought one of our new Yamaha "Bravo" snowmachines home, there a basic 250 machine only 400 pounds, long track. Will be good for going to White Mountain to check mail this winter.
